GARDENER'S KITCHEN

Located in downtown New Bern, this kitchen remodel had it's obstacles. The clients had previously done a kitchen renovation but wanted to remodel the space so that the kitchen could be larger and include a sitting area with large windows where they could reflect on their garden. Plans included moving the shared wall between the very large bathroom and kitchen. This created a smaller half bath with laundry and gave much needed space to the new kitchen. After many configurations and meetings with the Historic Preservation Council it was decided the original chimney could not be demolished. GO Design created a plan that allowed the chimney to be a focal piece while still allowing the kitchen to function as desired. Shiloh cabinetry was provided by GO Kitchen & Interiors.
