This 1920’s two story house located in New Bern’s Historic District had been split into two apartments and the new owner wanted to bring it back to a single family residence with some upgrades.  GO Architectural Design, PLLC designed a new kitchen and screened porch and GO Design GO Build, LLC performed the construction.  We removed an existing wall between the kitchen and dining room and created a bar opening up the space to the front of the house.  We took advantage of a previously enclosed back porch to create a breakfast nook overlooking the new porch.  The back stair was removed and the screened porch constructed on the rear of the house.  We used 12×24 porcelain floor tiles with aspen white cabinets and beautiful quartz counter tops.  Let us know what you think.
