HISTORIC TINY HOUSE

This tiny house was conceived as a residence for the owner's father to be in close contact with the family.  The owners were meticulous about wanting the detailing to match the existing Historic 1903 structure and had the detailing milled from a local molding company for use on the cottage.  Inside warm woods were used in the kitchen and built-in shelving and drop down table and library ladder that serves as access to the second floor loft area.  The interior of the space was vaulted to give the small space a very open feeling and the loft will serve as future painting studio for the owner.  The ceiling is a stained pine to match the rest of the woodwork and brings a general warmth to the space.
